Wood’s Powr-Grip® is pleased to announce the addition of a new product to its growing line of below-the-hook vertical lifters, the VL2MAN.

The VL2MAN incorporates an aluminum bar and sliding mounts that are specifically designed to use the power of your hand-held vacuum cups (not included) to lift loads. Weighing in at just 17 lbs. [8 kg], the VL2MAN is easily moved by one person from job site to job site with minimal effort. (If you own a set of Wood’s Powr-Grip N-Series Hand Cups, all you need to do is attach one cup to each mount on the lifter. If you don’t have our hand cups, you might want to take a little time and go shopping.)

Once two Wood’s Powr-Grip N-Series Hand Cups have been attached, this new vacuum lifter allows the operator to manipulate loads with smooth, nonporous surfaces in a vertical orientation. It’s great for those jobs when the material being handled is too heavy or too awkward to be moved safely by hand. By attaching the VL2MAN lifter to a crane, hoist or forklift, the operator can avoid fatigue and possible injury while lifting materials up to 220 lbs. [100 kg].

Sliding hand cup mounts offer additional versatility to the VL2MAN. When using Wood’s Powr-Grip’s 9” [23 cm] hand cups, the lifter can be configured to range in size from a minimum pad spread of 9-1/4" x 18-1/2” [232 x 473 mm] to a maximum of 9-1/4" x 42-1/2" [232 x 1083 mm]. This allows the operator greater flexibility in the size and shape of loads that can be lifted. Available options include an adjustable center arm for additional load support, and custom sizes with capacities to fit your job requirements.
