Exchange Program Update

Effective August 1st, 2006, all N-Series Exchange vacuum cups will be returned from Wood’s Powr-Grip with a new carrying case only. Wood’s Powr-Grip will no longer offer the option of reusing old cases on Exchange cups. The price will remain at the current price for an Exchange sold with a new carrying case.

A variety of factors have necessitated this change, including new vacuum cup styles and changes to vacuum pad sizes, as well as the recent redesign of the case. Due to this redesign, replacement handles and latches for the old-style case are no longer available.

This change will also improve our Exchange Program by providing products that better reflect the quality standards that Wood’s Powr-Grip is committed to. Currently, many of the cases that come in for reuse on Exchanges are in poor condition or are full of dust and other debris. New cases will reduce the risk of damage to newly molded vacuum pads. Additionally, this change will reduce the turnaround time on Exchanges, thereby increasing our efficiency and ability to keep costs low.
