Tilters for Glass Production by Wood's Powr-Grip®
When equipment requirements call for tilting glass 90° between upright and flat positions, a tilter or "upender" is employed. Powr-Grip Tilters help to increase speed and mobility for glass transfers to and from cutting tables or production machinery, while providing sufficient glass support and rigidity to avoid breakage during the tilt. Factors such as glass size, thickness and stress placed on the glass due to jarring or bumping are considered in the design of these vacuum lifters. |
