Vacuum cups submitted to the rigors of everyday use pick up dirt, grime and other contaminants that compromise the cups' effectiveness. A loss of suction risks harming the load being handled and, potentially, the handler. Wood's Powr-Grip Vacuum Cup Cleaner effectively removes soil, lubricants and many adhesives, without leaving a chemical build-up or residue. As part of a diligent inspection and maintenance regime, cleaning the vacuum pad frequently with Wood's Powr-Grip Vacuum Cup Cleaner helps eliminate load damage and the potential for injury.

Our Vacuum Cup Cleaner is specially formulated not only to clean but also to condition and rejuvenate rubber vacuum pads. Over time, exposure to sunlight, heat and air ages rubber, causing it to lose flexibility and grip. Unlike many other cleaners, Wood's Powr-Grip Vacuum Cup Cleaner actually restores the surface texture, flexibility and grip of vacuum pads, helping to maintain optimal capacity throughout their recommended service life. In addition, our cleaning solution treats other problems associated with aging rubber, such as glaze (polished, glossy surface) and blooming (dusty, white surface).

Using our Vacuum Cup Cleaner is fast and easy!
Spray the entire face of the vacuum pad with Wood’s Powr-Grip Vacuum Cup Cleaner, being careful to keep the solution away from the air filter. Then scrub the vacuum pad with a clean sponge or lint-free cloth, using enough pressure to remove contaminants, such as dirt, oils and adhesives. Just wipe any excess cleaner from the cup when you are finished cleaning. Remember, you cannot use Wood’s Powr-Grip Vacuum Cup Cleaner too often: Multiple cleanings can actually improve performance of a vacuum cup and are recommended, especially if the vacuum pad is in poor condition. Be sure to clean your vacuum pads regularly and use a liberal amount of cleaner, for best results.
